Join us for a powerful and moving evening as Pride Chorus Houston presents “HERstory: A Celebration of Women’s Voices.” Performed on International Women’s Day, this remarkable concert pays tribute to the incredible women who have shaped our world, highlighting their stories and contributions through the transformative power of music.

“Herstory” is more than just a concert—it’s a celebration of strength, resilience, and the diverse experiences of women across time and cultures. With a repertoire that spans a rich tapestry of genres and eras, the performance will feature both stirring anthems and intimate ballads, each carefully selected to honor the achievements and voices of women.

We will also be performing the world premier of “I Come With My Songs,” by noted composer Joan Szymko. Inspired by the poetry of Elsa Gidlow, the American poet best known for writing On a Grey Thread (1923), the first volume of openly lesbian love poetry published in North America.
